Avian Cuisine’s Premium Wild Bird Foods are processed diets that meet all the nutrient requirements of wild birds.
Feeding a nutritionally complete diet on a year-round basis expands the food base in an area, thereby improving the overall survival and reproductive rates of many species. If you want to make a meaningful contribution to the health and reproduction of local species, you should incorporate processed diets as the major component of your bird-feeding program.
All of Avian Cuisine’s Premium Wild Bird Foods are made exclusively with vegetable oils for improved digestibility. All of our products consist of flours, meals, nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and binders processed into a suitable shape of uniform consistency.
Veterinarians and animal care professionals recommend processed diets as the main food (50% minimum) for all birds. Since a processed diet, unlike seeds and seed mixes, is of uniform consistency, birds can not preferentially select what they eat.
All of our products consist of a minimum of 80% processed diet with the remainder being attractants.
Avian Cuisine Premium Wild Bird Foods come in 6 forms to accommodate different methods of foraging.

Nutri-Cakes are nutritionally complete alternatives to suet cakes that can be offered all year-round for woodpeckers, flickers, wrens, nuthatches, chickadees, and other bark climbers. They can also be crumbled, broken or mashed up right in the heavy re-sealable bag for feeding on fly-thru feeders for attracting a wider range of bird species or cut them into pieces for multiple feedings.
